Citroën commenced the production of the AU in 1951, followed by the AZU in 1954, and subsequently the AZU250, the AK350, and the AK400. However, in 1979, the production of the esteemed 2CV Fourgonnette ceased, marking the end of an era. The final 2CV Fourgonnette, an AZU250, gracefully departed from the production line, concluding a grand total of 1,246,335 units manufactured. The baton was then passed to the Acadiane, which succeeded the iconic 2CV Fourgonnette from 1979 onwards.
