Beautiful route with our Citroen Mehari through the hills of the Hageland and past the legendary Vlooyberg tower. You ride on small hedge-lined roads through the hilly splendour of the Hageland. You cruise through dark forests and occasionally you are treated to a vista. At times on the route, it will seem like you are in the south of France or even Tuscany. You pass the Vlooyberg tower, put on the world map by Jay Vleugels, where you can see the shafts of the Limburg coal mines in fine weather. It continues through country and hollow roads to the vineyard mountain in Houwaart, where you can enjoy yourself in the middle of the vineyard. Burgundy you can treat yourself in the Moedermeule or in the carriage house, with a view of the beautiful moated castle of the Red Knight.
